If you have your pilot's license you may fly a different plane each time you go out. If this is the case, you will want to be sure that you have an aviation GPS that you can take with you into each of the planes. Not all planes are equipped with the most functional global positioning systems, but you should have one on board with you when you take off. Without it, you could run into a lot of problems such as obstacles and even where you should be landing could be a problem without a GPS.
